Still have excess 2kg before I regain back my pre-pregnancy weight of 50kg. My mum and my sis commented that I lost weight faster this round but I cannot remember exactly.... Anyway, I can wear back my clothing already and if possible I hope I can shed extra 2 kilos of fat to reach my ideal weight of 48kg. heehee..

05 November 2009 - Thursday
Really glad for the full day off!
Been feeling very uptight and could really use as much relaxing time as possible!
Met up with Sebast for lunch. Been a long while since we caught up!
Had apple cinnamon pancakes at Cedele! Yumyummmm!!

But I kinda regretted at my choice of cafe when we took a walk in Ion and saw
all the super attractive tea deals with good tea and yummy light bites!
Wanted to go for tea at TWG but sadly it was full house.
Thus we settled down at Marmalade Pantry.

Somehow the feel is gone. MP no longer feels like the MP I knew!
They don't even have the rose lychee cupcake any more =(
We had a lemon cup cake and a pot of tea each.
Just nice, Y's birthday fell on the same day and we went for dinner at Megumi, Siglap.
I hate myself for not dining there sooner.
Cos it's AWESOME.

The best thing is, they have very big tables. Enough for my intense ordering style. LOL!
The goodness of the sashimi was written all over his face. haha
Just like when I tasted the Hokubee beef. My god.
Though the sweetness is not like the wagyu beef, the soft melt-in-your mouth texture
satisfied me completely. In fact, even the sukiyaki soup stock is really not bad!
I think I've found my fave sukiyaki after Sun's! The only downside is the veggies variety in it
is not as good as Sun's. But the beef. My god. The marbling is amazing! I can't stop wanting to eat it.

And a good meal is never complete with after dinner wine =)
Thanks Shanshan for the recommendation! And such luck! Gewurztraminer was in the list of
promotional wine of the month at Vie Bar!!
It's so light, so sweet and with every sip, the hint of lychee kept me so happy!
We got a bottle, finish up and I felt I would like to have another glass hahaha

And I slept very well that night!
06 November 2009 - Friday
Caught The Sister's Keeper with Arvin. Not accurate to the book but nonetheless, great cast
and my tears threatened to fall at a couple of scenes haha.
Headed to Wine bar for a couple of drink. Bumped into a few friends as well!!
Started with 2 Jaggerbombs and ended the night with....

Favorite! YUMYUM!!!
Enough of sweet drinks for the week.
Heading for coffee with the gang later!

It's Nov and the weather is GORGEOUS! It must be around 70 out there. I just went out to the North side of the deck and pulled a bunch of weeds. Some of them were 3 and 4 feet tall! That will look better for house lookers.
I had a bunch of trick or treaters as usual. A couple little boys were Scooby Doo and soooo cute! Brandon came by (used to work with at the Mandarin, he's still there and lives a block East of me) and noticed my sale sign out front. He wondered where we were going and I told him. His little girl was taking off so he had to run. I have tons of leftover Halloween candy! I've been taking it to Jazz games and eating/sharing it. I took 1 bag of Crunch bars to work to share with others. My neighbor's daughter Jenny came over and invited me accross the street for chili and hanging out. I went and enjoyed the chili, hanging out with them, etc. They are such good folks. I will have to send Xmas cards after I move.
I went to the dermatologist this morning because I developed a brown spot on my lower lip about 6 to 8 months ago. I had bitten my lip really hard and I wonder if that caused it. It was never there before so I thought I better get the thing checked out in case it might be cancer. He examined it with a light up magnifying glass twice. He said it was some fancy dermatololgical term and basically it's like a sun spot or freckle that can be caused by trauma. He said that it's not looking cancerous at all and just to have it looked at yearly. I told him about my acne and he prescribed a antibiotic gel to put on it twice a day and I can use it on my back, too. It's safe for people that are trying to get pregnant. 2nd time to a doctor this year, the other time was a gynecology exam. I hadn't had one for 3 or 4 years.
I've been packing off and on. And looking online for Idaho jobs off and on. I packed up 1 box of kitchen stuff today. I had a bunch of vases that I am taking to DI. Don't want them. I can't wait to move and get on with my new life. I am fine but feel in limbo. I wonder what kind of new job I will get. I love my current job so much and love telecommuting so much, I am completely spoiled and don't know that I will ever had another job this good again. Sigh.

It's been super long since I have the time to sit down, upload photos and post something on this space. But I'm still pretty active on twitter! The whole of October has been..well.. I'm packed, busy, pissed, angry, thankful, settling, relived, steaming, boiling, tired, sore... yea a whole bunch of negative vocabs. Well, things have kinda settled. In fact, some stuff have even turn for the better! Something to look forward to! Sometimes I hate my job for the insane hours and whothehell works on Saturday. Yet, Im thankful to work with this team of people and I know how lucky I am to be assigned to work with them. And my work also seem to be gearing a little closer to what I wanna do these days.
Before I head off for dinner at Megumi, I'll post a couple of photos.
Can't even remeber the time line. Accumulated for too long. LOL!
One of my lunches.
Was so bored of the usual chinese food so I thought having a sandwich and corn soup.

I've not been feeling too good at the end of October... So was always going for soupy light
food. My first time trying Le Viet. Well, every dish was so boring looking...
But the taste is pretty refreshing and dynamic!!! I would be back for the grilled chicken noodle thingy!

On another night with a bad appetite, I met Shanshan (like finally after 3 mths?! )
and I had a salad with tea while she tried the new beef wrap!!!
How I wish I can drink that glass on wine too =(

On a random date with dear Geneii. This place needs no introduction.
Our gang's usual cafe when we eat out in orchard!

This was at Santouka, The Central!
$20 a bowl of ramen. All I can recall is how freaking fantastic the white wine tasted at Wine Bar after
this bowl of very powerfully oily, thick generous meat ramen. hahhaha

Didn't head out for Halloween this year due to 2 reasons.
1. If I head out, I might do some really crazy shit due to what happen the day before.
2. The sassy missy event at SPH auditorium on Sunday!
A hair stylist, beauty consultant, aesthetic doctor and dentist was involved in this talk.
The Dental Studio was involved in this event with Dr Ng as one of the speaker.

After that I went to meet Ronnie for some salad. She desperatly wanted some cakes and we're
worried that Obolo would be close by the time we reach. So we opted for Cedele at Frankl Ave instead.

Ending the entry with one of our Zouk trips.
Jagger bombs, shots and friends. I ♥ !

Will back back for more photos of today's trip to Cedele,Marmalade Pantry and Megumi!

Heyzues & Bubba are Lovers:
Make up purchases from a few weeks ago. They had a sale at VS for buying $30 of make up and you get $10 off. So I got the minimum $30, which was 2 eye shadow pallettes. I have enjoyed them but the pigment especially of the darkest shades is darker than I thought.
On this 1st palette, that darker maroonish brown shade on the right actually goes on almost black it's so dark!

( 2 more goodies behind the cut )
Thanks to
I got a coupon from Kathy for free panties and $10 off any purchase for Vic Secret so I decided I wanted to go to Layton Hills mall. I met up with Wendy for lunch 1st at La Choi Noodle Parlor close to her house. It was tasty! Wendy brought Sydney with her so as not to cause an argument with Vince. He doesn't particularly like watching Sydney. I have tons of leftover which I will have later.
Then, I went to the mall and browsed VS. I picked out my free panties, purple ones this time. And then chose a small "Twinkleberry" scent (oooh it's a yummy vanilla candy type scent) lotion and shimmer "kissable" body powder. Paid $4.26 for those 3 items- normally would be $22.50 + tax. But who the hell pays full price for this shit? I was a good girl and didn't buy anything else at the mall, nor did I really look in any other stores aside from Macy's which I parked outside of, so I had to walk through it.
Then, on the way home, I went into Kohls to use my $10 certificate that I got last weekend when I bought Halloween costume stuff and a few other items totalling over $50. I chose a gorgeous 4x6 frame with jewels and pearls on it and 2 pair of cute flip flops, ended up paying $2.33 total. The receipt says I saved $49.80. Like I said earlier, who pays full price for anything?
So, today, I spent a total of $6.59 (incl tax) on a pair of panties, a small lotion, a body powder, a photo frame, and 2 pair of flip flops. Not too shabby!! God I love being a bargain hunter! I spent more on lunch- $13 which incl tax + tip.
I got gas on base while I was up there, I think it was $2.47 a gallon. Prices are climbing slightly but not too outrageous.
I am ready for Trick or Treaters tonight!
